You don't remember getting knocked out.

That's the best descriptor for the feeling you experience before you wake up. There's a glittering absence of color to your field of vision, and a sensation that you aren't yourself, you aren't anything in particular. Abruptly, unpleasantly, you wake up in a strange, sunny location. Where that is might vary--laying in a sun chair on the pool deck, draped over the skee-ball machine in the arcade, face down in a cart in the laundry room....or just stretched out in the long, long expanse of sand surrounding the island.

There doesn't seem to be anyone else here, aside from the others who have woken up and have as little clue where they might be as you do. It's a silent, empty island filled with a lot of questions and few clear answers. What you can conclude are a few things: that you don't get hungry or tired, that any wounds you have don't seem to either heal or worsen, and leaving the island doesn't seem to be possible.

Maybe it would be good to meet with the others who have woken up?

Right... And weapons, and armor.

[ It's like leading a dungeon and making sure everybody is equipped and stocked. You can never go wrong with extra food in your pockets either. ]

Anything is a weapon if you're holding it right.

[ He nods solemnly, looking back down at the suitcases littering the floor. ]

( ... wait, oh my god. while he answers, kurumi dives towards one of the suitcases- )

[ he ducks out of the way, quicker than it looked like he'd be capable of ]

( kurumi stands back up, holding up... a terrible, wonderful, amazing shirt. )

[ HE DOESN'T WANT TO LOOK AT THAT ]

Whaaat, come on. It's perfect for you~!

( look upon it and despair minato )

[ he supposes............. if he's the one wearing it, he's spared the sight... right... ]

Yeah, yeah! Wear it open over a t-shirt or something, and you'll fit right in here!

You'll have to find me a t-shirt...

[ he doesn't want this... he takes it anyways, because she looks so excited at his expense. ]

I hope it does!

( WHAT is the problem with the shirt! it's perfect! )

I'll see if I can find one.

[ He hates that this is his fate. It's fine, it's fine. He's worn so much worse, and, admittedly, it's good to see Kurumi smile and be excited about something. ]

...I'm counting on you to find something good, then.

Yessss! I'll find something great! Okay, okay. Maybe there's other neat finds in these...

( she doesn't miss the fact that he looks incredibly unenthused. but he's indulging her... kurumi will have to find something genuinely good for him, too. )

I mean, I saw some at the gift shop... buuuuut it was pink.

( she is determined to find him heart-shaped sunglasses but blue now. )
