The island stands as still as ever. Finding sparse answers likely hasn't been satisfying, but it seems to be all you can get on your first day at the Pink Prism Resort. You'll find that while you can sleep, you don't have any particular need to, much like your lack of hunger and lack of healing.

The next morning offers no particularly stand-out hints or clues, but maybe you'd like to take a good look around? There's plenty of space to accommodate everyone.

Three of them are turned off, but one of them is making some concerning noises, evident by the person bent over the machine unscrewing bolts, holding wires, and consulting a book on the table next to them. It's Mechanical Engineering for Dummies. ]

One of the elevators was broken, so I came down here to try to fix it.

Eh? But Aniki taught me some stuff about machines...I didn't want to ask any of you to go out of your way.

[ tapping the wrench against her chin ]

But if there's someone who knows better, they can take a look, too.

Um, actually, that reminds me--how did you get down here?

[Karen isn't sure offhand who would know better, and doesn't really think it's her, though she'll take a look anyway.]

We climbed. [Or jumped, etc.] The elevator doors were open.
