week 1

The island stands as still as ever. Finding sparse answers likely hasn't been satisfying, but it seems to be all you can get on your first day at the Pink Prism Resort. You'll find that while you can sleep, you don't have any particular need to, much like your lack of hunger and lack of healing.

The next morning offers no particularly stand-out hints or clues, but maybe you'd like to take a good look around? There's plenty of space to accommodate everyone.

Monday Meeting

[It's safe to say that as Sunday passed, Akutagawa and Koizumi managed to get the message across - there will be a meeting on Monday at breakfast, so everyone should try to attend. Hungry or no, it's a good time to talk. So there Akutagawa is with a cup of tea, and as soon as he's sure that a good number of people have arrived and sat down...]

Good morning, fellow island inhabitants.

[He rises from his seat.]

For those of you I haven't met yet, my name is Ryuunosuke Akutagawa. This is a meeting where we can do a headcount, decide on what we'd like to collaborate on, and perhaps get to know each other if we like. Let's try to make introductions swift and easy and try to find a way off this island as soon as we possibly can. Please note any relevant skills you may have.

For instance...I'm rather good in a battle if there ever are any attackers, and I know some minor investigation skills. That should be a goal, in fact - investigation. My former profession is that of a mafioso. I'm part of Yokohama's Port Mafia.

Is anyone else interested in sharing their skills, name, goals, and ideas? Please feel free to do so in an orderly manner.

( kurumi claims a surprisingly empty room- any luggage that is still there is pushed against the wall, closed for now until she feels like digging through things more. the door is... unlocked, deliberately- so anyone who decides to check on kurumi in her room at any point in the week will find the same thing: the beds stripped of their pillows and blankets, and in the corner behind the one furthest from the door, a nest of the missing bedding with kurumi in the center, curled up tight, holding her shovel. it's hard to tell if she's asleep or not.

otherwise... well, there's a small island and a lot to do, right? well, maybe not a lot but... it's been *ages* since she was able to go to an arcade and play. or go swimming!

maybe not swimming. but, you know, the blood isn't looking too great all over. and even in the school, they managed to clean up the rooms they used the most... which is why you can find her around with a mop and bucket, trying to clean the floors. except no matter what she tries, the blood- even though its pretty damn fresh- isn't being mopped up. what the hell. )

Come on- why isn't it... am I going crazy?

( but fine. FINE. if it doesn't wanna get cleaned up, then kurumi will get away from that sickening mess! catch her on the beach, in a... "borrowed" swimsuit and her jacket still on, sitting on one of the giant floaties. the narwhal specifically. eventually she flips her neon pink heart-shaped sunglasses up once she sees she's not alone. )

Hey~.

[Cool. Cool, cool, cool.

First thing's first: she did a quick sweep when she arrived and didn't know where she was, but post-meeting on Monday Breanna figures the best thing to do is so haul herself up into the ventilation system and more thoroughly check it out. You might catch her dropping down into random rooms and frowning about it during this check, or hear mysterious banging. It's fine. She knows what she's doing.

Second, or Tuesday more accurately, Breanna ends up in the arcade, more carefully looking over the machines. More specifically, looking for one that might have an internet connection. That's always plan B: try to contact the team so they know what's up if you can't get out of a situation. People never think about stuff like automatic updates on an arcade machine and how you can hijack that.

After that, she holes up in a room on the second floor. One of the walls has been cleared of bland art and other objects and has been taken over with a full Pepe wall. That's fun. Totally normal for a [checks notes] "social media marketer." She doesn't have her usually equipment, though, so analog digging it is.]
